Promotion - Take a set amount off - Dollar off Tuesdays
HI, In your promotion section it would be great if there was a was to take a set $ amount off items or groups.
We run a Tuesday special where all alcoholic drinks have $1.00 off from 5 - 7 pm.
Depending on the drink this can be anything from 33% discount to 5% discount. So we have to manually enter ever drink and every new price.
Being able to just mark all the prices of a group down by a set amount would be very handy.

Hi Brendan,
You can assign discounts to groups, the same way you assign discounts to a separate product. All you have to do is select a group and click the arrow or do "drag&drop" with selected group, you will be able to set same discount for a group.

Yes, you can assign a discount to a group. However, that assumes that I either want to apply a % discount or I want to set every price in the group to the same sale price.
Let me explain:
I have a bar that sells 60 alcoholic drinks, they come in cans, bottles and shots. Their prices range from $6 - $18 dollars. For this promotion - "Dollar off Tuesday" I would like to take $1 off the price of those drinks from 5pm - 7pm on Tuesday.
If I add a group, I have the 2 options:
- Take off a percentage % which will vary the prices of all the drinks by a different amount (which wont be $1).
- Make all the items in the group a fixed price, but seeing as all the drinks start at different prices, that would actually make some more expensive and some too cheap.
I would like a third option to to take a fixed amount of each item in a group without having to do it manually for each item.
But otherwise, I love this program.
