Box to Pcs Inventory Conversion

Hi Aronium,

Can we work on a feature where we can easily convert inventory of boxes to pieces of the same product?

It is very common to retail stores to sell in both box and pieces of the same product but different price e.g A Milk box has 12 bottles, 1 box sold at P100 but per bottle is sold at P10.

I would have 2 products for this, Milk box and Milk bottle. Which means I will have 2 inventory of the same product. It will be very useful for us to have a feature where we can easily convert 1 BOX to 12 PCS so at the time we open a box to sell n pieces, the system will also know that the box inventory has been deducted by 1 and the pieces inventory was added by 12. 

Also, it would be great if we can have a conversion report so we can also monitor the process periodically.

  The best solution for the Aronium Team is to modify the "quick inventory" function

  Lets say I Purchase 3 x Crate of Coca Cola 300ml  (Crate 24 Units)
  If I want to sell by in Units I will Create a product (Coca Cola 300ml)
  
  So on Stock, 
  Select - Coca Cola Crate 300ml x 24
  Select - Quick Inventory
  Then Change the Quick Inventory window to look like this
  Qty in Hand: 3
  Adjust Qty by: -1
  New Qty in Hand: 2
  
  Select - Cola Cola 300ml
  Select - Quick Inventory
  Qty in Hand: 0
  Adjust Qty by: 24
  New Qty in Hand: 24
  
  This will be far a way better solution in the mean time while the team is trying to figure out the solution for an automation solution...  
  
  Because what I Do, I use the Inventory Count (300) Document.
