when i sell for items over 1000.00 value

the slip shows R 1a000,00  and not R 1,000.00

how do i rectify this, my region is set for south africa

  Hi Mark,

  We have seen this issue before. We assume you are using "ESC/POS" printer type, and it is Windows regional settings and a "special" character instead of blank space is probably the issue.

  If you go to your regional options in Windows, you will probably see an empty space for digit grouping symbol. It probably is not an empty space, but some invisible character that prints like this when ESC/POS is used. Can you confirm this?

  Try this, open regional settings as described at https://help.aronium.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002880512-Currency-symbol put an empty space there or any other digit grouping symbol you want.

  

  You will probably see an empty space in this box, but, again, it is not an empty space but some invisible or unprintable character. Try replacing it with a dot or an actual empty space (press space bar to replace it) and try it out. Make sure you restart Aronium when you save changes to regional settings.
  
  Alternatively, you can try Windows printer type as described here, it will probably not have these issues.
