update price change allowed feature on all products
Hello,
I've been working with the database for a while and I love this program. When I originally imported my products using a CSV file, I put the products as "price change allowed". Now after working with the program for a while, I'm finding the price change window popping up with every product during a sale a bit annoying. I only have a few products where prices changes need to be allowed. Is there an easy way to update all the products at one time so the price change allowed is set to "no"? I've been doing one item at a time and it's taking forever to do. Last time I tried updating products by re-importing with a CSV file I messed up my inventory and I had to erase the entire database and start again.

Hi Jason,
You can use CSV export, open with Excel and edit this option there, then save back to CSV and import products back.
What you need to make sure is to leave "Quantity" column empty, if it is there, so no documents are created during import and your inventory should be the same.
Also, you should create a database backup before running this operation, so, just in case something goes wrong, you can restore previous database and continue where you have left. You can find more info on database backup at https://help.aronium.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002769089-Backup-database.
Hope this helps.
Thanks, Aronium team.
