COLLABORATION TRANSLATION
Good Morning
reviewing the reports that are generated in Spanish and other functions I see that there is still a lot of text titles and headers that are in English, if needed I offer to help them to do the translation, I just need you to send me the text to provide the solution, Surely the community in Spanish that you are using is software is very small but if it is wide it can be interesting to have more details in Spanish.
Best regard

Hi Enrique,
Thank you for offering your help, it is much appreciated.
Please, read translation instructions at https://help.aronium.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003595312-Translation, you can download translation app there and translate the missing parts. It would be great if you can send it back to us so we can include it in official build so other users can use it, too.
Regarding reports, they are not a part of this translation, unfortunately, so we would need to figure out the easy enough way for you to translate.
If we can put up some e.g. Excel sheet with labels that needs to be translated, would that be OK for you?

Hi Enrique,
You can find those files (print templates) in "C:\Program files\Aronium\Templates\en" directory. Those are XML files and you could create a copy of those files and edit them using Notepad or any other text editor.
I believe it will be much easier if we prepare an Excel file with labels, so you do not have to mess around with XML files.
Regarding you question if your translation is available in future version, the answer is yes. We will add them as a part of standard installation and will be available for all users from that moment.
Hope this helps.

Hello
If it would be easier to have them available in Excel template, I want to give my support to this project, since many years ago when I was living in Argentina, I was on that side with a friend in the development of free software, and sometimes it takes a lot of time to those little details.-
You will have noticed that maybe I am the most active in the forum, requesting new functions, is that I worked some time as a partner, and intendants of several ERP / CRM systems
open source, developed in php which often require special programming for certain applications, then because of that experience,
and really seeing the potential of your system is that I take the audacity, to request some functions that are present in other systems, such as openbravo, unicenta, pangea pos (both folk) of openbravo.
And if you allow me, I can suggest to you to think about developing some external modules (of payment) that can be incorporated in a tab of the system. These modules usually have a low to medium price but allow to customize many functions required by users, as an example
Some suggested modules:
Product module by size and color
Series number module
Module tilts (to be used in supermarkets, or stores that sell products by weight)
I do not want to bother you but if you are interested tell me how to help themBest Regards
Enrique Perez

Hi Enrique,
Thank you for your proposal, help is always appreciated.
About the modules you've mentioned, we are aware of them, and, yes, they would be a great addition to the product, and, hopefully we'll add them in the future, as soon as the time allows us to do so (there is too many things scheduled and in the road map already).
However, some of the modules you mentioned (if I understood correctly) are already there, waging scale module (sell items by weight) is available from day one, and user are able to use it if they are equipped with a waging scale.
Regarding that Excel sheet we've promised, here it is, you can download Excel file from this link:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/2mgoi64585syyz6/ReportLabels.xlsx?dl=1You will see there is not too many labels to translate, as most of them repeats across different reports (for example the word "Total").
If you manage to translate the labels, send it back to us (here or send an email to support@aronium.com), we'll be glad to include it in official build.
I hope you will find excel sheet easy to use and translate, if you have any questions, please let us know.
Thanks, Bosko

Dear Bosko
Ready I'm going to put this weekend to see if I finish the translation, when the product establish that it is selling by weight, but I can not find where to set the configuration parameters of the RS232 port,
It would be good to establish a configuration tab similar to the one used for the configuration of printers where the configurations most used by the scales can be and have the option of a univesal where the parameters can be configured individually.Best regards, Enrique

Hi Enrique,
Just to clarify what I meant by "waging scale" support and to make sure we are on the same page.
Aronium is capable of reading waging scale barcodes (barcodes containing measured weight along with a product id).
No connection to serial port or direct communication to waging scale exists, Aronium will handle barcodes printed on a waging scale only.
You can read more about waging scale support at https://help.aronium.com/hc/en-us/articles/208663329-Barcode-settings.
I hope this helps and it clarifies some things regarding waging scale support.
Thanks, Bosko

Hi Bosko
If you just need to read the rs232 port directly when the product is selected, it is very useful when you use the system in the supermarket, where the weight is directly made in the sales area (pos),
in the way that you indicate me if you read the bar code that was generated in the sector example greengrocer, 1 kilogram of apples and the dispatcher issued and pasted the bar code on the product packaging.
If you have time, download an open source post called unicenta pos developed in london, which is an improvement over openbravo pos, and in it you can see the direct weight options that I described previously.
Advanced in another topic that I see is planned is networking, in several countries of America in which I have worked, when a set has several points pos, according to the tax structure of the country it is required that each point pos you issue your ticket with numeration own I will leave an example so that you understand more
point of sale 1 ticket Nro 001-000001
point of sale 2 ticket No. 002-000001 (sometimes this may vary) the beginning of the numbering or have prefixes of letters
point of sale 2 ticket Nro BOG-000001
At the moment of installing the point of sale 2 or 3 or those that are according to the size of the organization to be used, it would be necessary to be able to establish this parameters.Tks, Enrique

Hi Enrique,
Thanks for pointing out numbering structure for multiple point of sales in the same store.
We'll have this in mind for future updates. Currently, document number structure used is <DOCUMENT_TYPE>-<YEAR>-<DOCUMENT_NUMBER> (e.g. "200-18-000123"), changing this rules would affect many parts of the system, and for this reason, I cannot promise anything at this moment.
Thanks, Bosko
