To set up email sending with Aronium, go to Settings and open "Email settings".
Fill in the following properties:

SMTP server used to send an email -
Port
Port used for sending email -
SSL Enabled
Indicates whether SSL (Secure Socket Layer) is enabled. Check this field if your email provider requires secure connection -
Display name
Used as a display name for outgoing messages. -
Email address
Enter email address used for authorization. This is the email address from which emails (e.g. receipts) will be sent -
Password
Your email account password
Default email message values

Subject
Sets default subject used for sending emails to customers -
Message
Sets default message used in emails sent to customers
Placeholders
Use placeholders in message subject and body to set content related to the receipt being sent.
For example, custom subject line "Receipt attached - {receipt}" will result in generated subject "Receipt attached - 170-200-000123"

Leaving default values blank
You can leave default subject and message blank.
If not set, automatically generated subject and message for the customer will be used. You can change them before message is sent.

Gmail
To use your Gmail account in Aronium, an application specific password must be generated. To generate application specific password, visit https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/185833.
Generated password
Make sure to write down or enter generated password immediately, as you will not be able to see it again.Once you have generated your application password, use the following settings for Gmail:

Yahoo
Before you can use Yahoo with 3rd party application, you have to generate third-party app password.
To generate third-party app passwords, visit https://help.yahoo.com/kb/generate-manage-third-party-passwords-sln15241.html.
Once you generate third-party app password, enter the following properties:

Outlook / Hotmail
Outlook is not supported anymore
Microsoft has removed the option to use standard SMTP functionality for sending emails from third-party apps as basic authentication is not allowed anymore (see the announcement).
As a workaround, we suggest using one of the alternatives like Gmail that supports creating of a dedicated application password.
