An activation key is a code used to activate Aronium trial.
Here is an example of one activation key:

Where can I find my activation key?
You can find your activation key in Aronium application, regardless of whether your license is already loaded on your computer or no.
Latest version
Activation key is available with version 1.37+.
Activation key in the login screen
When starting Aronium with missing license, you will be presented with the login screen. You can find your activation key on this screen, as in the screenshot below.
Copying an activation key to the clipboard
To copy the activation key, do the following:
- Click anywhere on the activation key, it will be automatically selected
- Right click anywhere in the selection and select Copy option from the menu, as in the screenshot below
Your activation key is now copied to the clipboard and you can paste it where required.
Activation key in the settings screen
You can find your activation key if you go to Settings > License section. Activation key will be displayed on this screen regardless of whether you already have a license loaded or no.
If no license exists, you will be able to see the activation key as in the screenshot below.
If you already have a license loaded, you can see your activation key along with the other license details, as in the screenshot below.
Copying the activation key
You can use the same method described above to copy the activation key to the clipboard.
How do I use my activation key?
When downloading a license from my.aronium.com, you will be asked to provide the activation key.
Once you click Download license button, you will see a dialog screen where you can enter the activation key for a computer where the license will be used.
Enter the activation key from your computer in the field and press Download button to download your license and proceed to activating your copy of Aronium as described at How do I update license on my computer? help article.
Troubleshooting
If your license requires an activation key, you will have to provide one for each computer where you want to use this license.
REMEMBER!
One activation key can be used for one computer only.
Activation key does not match the one in the license file
You may receive the following error when loading a license:
This error means that you are using a license that contains an invalid activation key, or that activation key in the license file does not match the activation key for your computer. For example, you can see this error if you try to load a license that has been generated for a different computer.
To solve this problem, follow instructions above to collect the activation key for a computer where you are attempting to load the license and download a separate license by following instructions at How do I update license on my computer?
Another trial already used
You can use a trial for one product (paid plugin) on one computer only once. If you attempt to use another trial license on a computer where previous trial was already used, you will receive the following error messages.
You may receive the similar message when trying to download a license from my.aronium.com, if another trial was already used for the specified activation key (computer).
To solve this problem, please use an activation key from a computer where trial was not already used.
If you have already used a trial for a product on your computer, you will have to purchase a license to continue using it.
